is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). ==A political dynasty== Nobuo Kishi is the brother, son, grandson, and grandnephew of Prime Ministers: *Shinzō Abe is his brother, but Kishi ignored that when he was a kid *Shintaro Abe is his father (Nobuo is the third son, the other one being Hironobu Abe, who works at Mitsubishi Corporation) *Nobusuke Kishi was his grandfather: during WWII, he served as Minister of Munition and was called Shōwa no yōkai (昭和の妖怪 or "the Shōwa era monster"). Nobusuke Kishi was jailed as a "Class A" war crimes suspect, but never tried. *Eisaku Satō, Nobusuke's brother, also became a Prime Minister. Note that Nobuo Kishi's other grandfather, Hiroshi Abe, was also a politician. His maternal uncle (Nobusuke Kishi's eldest son) Shinwa Kishi was chairman of Seibu Oil.
